Sanskrit count/posture:


In yoga the devine is simply defined as a tone and a vibration, this is why we continue to teach postures and count the vinyasas (movement with breath) in sanskrit. Sanskrit is the oldest language known to man and one of the only languages that has a tone and a vibration. The reason being that this was the first language that came to us, the most natural sounds came from what was within us, which is the devine or om that resides within us all.
